![]() FYI - Every single Adult are responsible for their own health. My gratitude to both of them for saving us from a horrible experience and ensuring my mother is treated with kindness and respect is immense. Melissa and Dominique were OUTSTANDING, along with Indigo being a more refined, pleasant, very clean hotel with a fantastic location. Aloft was cold, unfriendly, loud and definitely no 'hello! welcome!' from Aloft. The difference between the two lobbies in atmosphere alone was well worth the extra money and dragging ourselves to another hotel after a long drive at 9:30 in the evening. I promptly canceled my other 2 rooms at Aloft where we were met coldly, impersonally by Ellen. I paid for 2 rooms and multiple nights after having a horrible experience at Aloft, around the corner after calling Indigo in search of a welcoming, friendly place to spend $1800.00, Melissa answered the phone and we were immediately welcomed with genuine kindness and warmth. This was a very happy occassion, despite the long drive. We drove 11 hours instead of flying, to allow more time to assist my 80 year old mother with picking out a home. Overall this was a great hotel and we will be booking here whenever we visit Jacksonville again! Even though covid prevents everyday maid service, we had more than enough towels to last us the entirety of our stay. There was also a very large bathtub that could easily fit several people (in case you have kids) comfortably. Our room was handicapped accessible so our bathroom included a shower with two shower heads (one was removable and had great water pressure) and a sit down bench and plenty of safety handles. ![]() Attached to the bedroom is a very large bathroom. There is also a working air conditioner that you can turn on and off and set to your desired temperature. It added to the luxury feel of the room by adding a pop of quirkiness. Our room had a king sized bed, a television, a large closet, and a sizable dresser. In the next room which is kept private by a lockable door is the bedroom. There was also a television and several large windows. A very accommodating couch (someone could easily sleep comfortable on it) and comfortable lounge chairs. Attached to the kitchen (which also includes a dining table with 4 comfortable chairs) is the living area. ![]() No stove or oven but there is a sink, microwave and a fridge/freezer as well as a working coffee maker (Keurig). The first room is a living area and kitchen area combined. The suite has two rooms, very spacious and clean. It was a blessing in disguise to have to rebook last minute because this hotel is amazing! We were able to stay in a suite overlooking a lake! Absolutely gorgeous view! We were able to watch the sun rise and set everyday. We had originally been staying at a different hotel but after some mishaps and cleanliness issues, we booked Hotel Indigo. We stayed at this location for 4 days and it was wonderful! Melissa at the front desk was very accommodating and professional.
